Saugus may just be one of the twinkliest towns in the state thanks to an impressive stretch of holiday lights on the Lynn Fells Parkway. For about a mile, motorists can enjoy absolutely stunning displays and glowing lights on a series of private homes.
The tradition dates all the way back to the 1950s, when the neighborhood association started holding annual lighting competitions to get residents in the holiday mood. It definitely worked – Saugus locals have been going all-out on Christmas lights ever since.
