Since we’ve officially passed by Thanksgiving on the calendar, it’s safe to say that you can begin to chisel away at your holiday shopping without feeling any shame. If you’re interested in gifting your loved ones with unique gifts that can’t be bought at our local big-box stores, then heading to this one historic campus just outside of the city will be more than worth the quick half-hour drive. Find out why!
Located in the town of East Aurora within Erie County, the Roycroft Campus is a historic art colony that hosts an annual Holiday Show each winter.
Taking place this year on December 1st and 2nd, the Roycroft Campus Holiday Show is one of the best places to go when you're looking to complete your holiday shopping and find unforgettable gifts for friends and family.
Speaking of ornaments, while supplies last, visitors who stop into every building that's open and featuring art will get a free Roycroft ornament to take home with them!
But that's not all, each year during several of the Roycroft Campus's events — Thistle Creek Alpacas comes to make an appearance and mingle with the crowds.
While you're shopping and exploring the entire campus, you can visit these friendly guests of the show who are often decked out in their own little elf hats.
Much different from the average shopping trip to the mall that you're used to experiencing during the holidays, enjoy a taste of the simpler days and shop around at the Roycroft Campus Holiday Show.
Open to visitors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., if you get there early enough you can take advantage of everything on campus and spend the entire day shopping and exploring the area.
Roycroft Campus is located at 5 South Grove St., East Aurora, NY 14052 and will be running this year on December 1st and 2nd. To find out more about the Roycroft Campus Holiday Show, click here.
