As we prepare to bid another year adieu, we can’t help but reflect on all the mouthwatering meals we’ve recommended since 2018 began. Since the holiday season is often hectic and stressful, this is the perfect time to leave the cooking to someone else. If you live near any of these nine eateries, check them out as soon as possible — you won’t be disappointed.
1. Luna, 5620 S Perry St., Spokane
Luna is definitely one of the
most peaceful restaurants in Washington, so it's a great place to savor a meal when life gets hectic. The fact that the food happens to be incredible doesn't hurt.
2. Raging River Cafe, 33723 SE Redmond-Fall City Rd., Fall City
This is one of those
rural restaurants that are so worth the drive. If you'll be near Snoqualmie or North Bend before the end of the year, stop in and treat yourself to some prime rib or pasta.
3. Miner's Drive-in Restaurant, 2415 S. 1st St., Yakima
If you're doing your holiday shopping at the Valley Mall, take your lunch break at Miner's. Your
enormous burger will give you the energy to continue.
4. Bizzarro Italian Cafe, 1307 N 46th St., Seattle
Not only is Bizarro
delightfully quirky, but the freshly made pasta dishes are delightful. This is the perfect place to take out of town relatives who want a unique dining experience.
5. La Botegga, 1905 Main St., Vancouver
We gave this charming market and Italian eater a shout-out on our list of
tiny but mighty restaurants. Pick up some specialty meats and cheeses for your holiday platters and enjoy a hot, hearty meal while you're at it.
6. Whitehouse Crawford, 55 W Cherry St., Walla Walla
Whitehouse Crawford made our list of
tried and true eateries that serve the best food ever. If you have yet to dine here, make it a priority the next time you're in Walla Walla.
7. Europa Restaurant and Bakery, 125 S Wall St., Spokane
This unbelievably charming little spot is often overlooked -- in fact, earlier this year we called it a
diamond in the rough. The mouthwatering pizza and pasta are reason enough to visit, but you'll also be treated to some festive holiday decor if you go this time of year.
8. OleBob's Seafood Market and Galley Restaurant, 151 Howerton Way SE, Ilwaco
Spending the holiday season on the coast? Head to Ilwaco and grab a seat at this
unassuming restaurant. You'll understand why so many people drive for hours just for the fresh seafood.
9. The Butcher's Table, 2121 Westlake Ave., Seattle
The Butcher’s Table is the ultimate steakhouse experience, mainly for their signature dish, a steak flight. This place is a favorite of meat lovers everywhere.
Do you have a favorite Washington restaurant? We’re suckers for a good rural restaurant that requires a nice, peaceful drive.
