Every year, this one water park in Nevada experiences a complete makeover. It’s no longer a park full of water slides, people lounging on towels, and splash pads. During this time, it turns into a wonderland of stunning light displays, holiday-themed attractions, and your favorite Christmas characters. Round up the family and head to this delightful Christmas wonderland this year. This is a one-of-a-kind attraction that will enchant both children and adults in every way possible.
Every year as Thanksgiving comes to an end, there's one Nevada water park that transforms into a wonderland of Christmas spirit. Las Vegas Christmas Town is your go-to destination for all-things-Christmas, and you'll definitely want to plan a visit this year.
Las Vegas Christmas Town will open to the public the Friday after Thanksgiving, on November 23rd. It'll be open seven days a week through December 31st (with the exception of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day) and you'll find it at CowaBunga Bay Water Park.
Prepare to be blown away once you step inside this delightful Christmas town. All signs of summer-lovin' fun have been erased and replaced with an abundance of holiday cheer. The entire park is shrouded in over three million lights, creating the perfect atmosphere that will fill you with the spirit of Christmas.
Christmas Town is bustling with all sorts of things to do and there's a little bit of everything for everyone. Want to know what it's like to experience snow in the desert? Climb up the wintry, 100-foot-high snow hill and slide down the old-fashioned way. Then run up to the top and do it all again.
There will also be Yuletide Laser Tag, Frosty's Snow Ball Pit, and a unique opportunity to help Rudolph save Christmas with paintball. Gather your family and friends and challenge each other to see who can survive the longest.
Be sure to make your way to Santa Claus' Cozy Cottage and visit with the big guy himself. Bring your wish list and chat with Santa by a cozy fireplace.
You'll definitely want to stay long enough to experience the "Let It Snow" Spectacular in which Christmas Town comes alive with music that has been perfectly paired with animated sequences and dazzling lights. Who knows, it might even REALLY snow during this fantastic show...
Of course, no Christmas Town is complete without a tree. Stop for a moment and check out the 40-foot-tall Merry Magic Tree as it dances to your favorite Christmas tunes.
This is the type of place that will put a smile on your face from beginning to end. Start the holiday season off right and be sure to visit once it opens.
Las Vegas Christmas Town will be open November 23rd through December 31st. It's open Sunday through Friday from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm, and Saturday 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
