Spring Valley Family Tree Farm has been providing Idahoans with beautiful homegrown Christmas trees since 2005. The family owned and operated farm is a labor of love, and it shows.
The farm is currently open daily for visitors to come and pick out that perfect tree. It will be open through Sunday, December 23rd, but you'll want to visit as soon as possible so you can have first dibs on the tree of your choosing.
Picking out a tree shouldn't be a chore or an errand. It should be a magical experience that involves the whole family. That's exactly what you'll get at Spring Valley Tree Farm. Here at the farm you'll have your choice of several types of trees, including Grand Fir, Blue Spruce, Norway Spruce, Conoclor Fir, and more.
Their trees range in height from 5 feet to 12 feet tall, and they are all $50 including tax. If you wish, you can choose from their pre-cut trees in the barn, but the real fun is in cutting down your own!
Visitors will be welcome to a cup of complimentary hot chocolate, coffee, and cookies. After you're done picking out your tree, head into the barn and take a look at the fresh wreaths and goodies that await you inside. There is also a wonderful old-fashioned sleigh that makes for a great photo opportunity.
