Palms Grill Cafe has been a classic restaurant along Route 66 since 1934. It is located in central Illinois and is known for its home-style meals and handmade pies.
From the music playing overhead to the classic cash register and pinball machine that greet you when you walk in, this little diner is a nostalgic trip back in time, and it doesn't end with the decor.
Guests enjoy old-fashioned meals like fish and chips, BLT sandwiches, hot dogs, pulled pork, and much more. The restaurant also sells soups, salads, and burgers, as well as daily specials.
If you love classic Illinois fare, the horseshoe or ponyshoe is an excellent choice. Get it with hamburger, pulled pork, pork tenderloin, ham, corned beef, or buffalo chicken.
