With winter fast approaching there are bound to be some days when you just can’t get outside to play. Luckily a new attraction has arrived at the Echo Leahy Center For Lake Champlain and it is an incredible way to burn off some steam indoors. This indoor playground in Vermont is a place where everyone can feel like a kid again.
The Echo Leahy Center For Lake Champlain is an incredible science and nature center located on the shores of Lake Champlain in Burlington. Engaging and inspiring families to experiment, discover, and play, this center creates hours of enjoyment for its visitors. From September 1, 2018 - January 6, 2019, the special exhibit, Innovation Playground is open for families to enjoy.
Do you remember how much you used to enjoy playing with blocks, Lincoln Logs, or Legos? Build all kinds of new creations at the Innovation Playground with giant blue pieces. Stack them, balance them, and line them up to build whatever your imagination can conceive. The oversize building blocks come in a variety of shapes and sizes, so the possibilities are endless.
This hands-on exhibit is a fantastic way to draw everyone in the family away from tv's, computers, and phones. Jump back into real time by creating memories and building anything from a rocket ship to a modern day castle. Bring out your inner artist, tinkerer, or builder at this boundless indoor playground.
Enjoy a wonderfully creative experience in the Innovation Playground at the Echo Leahy Center For Lake Champlain. Visit the center from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily at 1 College St., Burlington, VT 05401. Admission to the entire center is $14.50 for adults, $12.50 for seniors and students, and $11.50 for children ages 3 - 17. Vermont residents and active military receive a $2 discount with proper ID.
