Festival Of Lights Is Largest Drive-Thru Holiday Light Show Near Buffalo

There may be over 40 days until Christmas, but you don’t have to wait that long to start enjoying the festivities. Beginning this month, you can take a quick 20-minute drive from Buffalo to a dreamy destination that puts you in your own personal wonderland. Take a peek!

The Hamburg Fairgrounds Festival of Lights is the largest holiday festival in Western New York and has been a beloved annual tradition for many of us who have grown up or raised a family in the Buffalo area.

The Festival of Lights features drive-through light displays where visitors can enjoy a spectacular show illuminated by over one million LED lights.

Now celebrating its 14th year of memory-making, the Festival of Lights is set to kick off the holiday season on November 23 and will run every weekend through December 23, 2018.

The event, which is presented by North Pole Productions, features dozens of dazzling displays, including a few Buffalo-themed ones that will bring a smile to your face.

This year, the driving route has been expanded to include new features on the Avenue of Flags.

With surprises awaiting around every turn, it’s always exciting to see which displays are lit up for the holidays.

Hamburg’s Festival of Lights includes more than just the drive-through display; the $25 admission price includes several other fun, festive activities to enjoy when you visit.
