10 Things You Really Hope Santa Brings Arizona For Christmas
Whoa, Christmas is quite literally just around the corner! A few more hours and presents will be under the tree, Santa will have (hopefully) made his stop to your house, and we can all celebrate another wonderful day. So while you’re wrapping up some last minute gifts or just hoping to catch a glimpse of the jolly old man, let’s reflect on some things we hope Santa delivers to Arizona this next year.

I personally prefer warmer temperatures over cold, but 118-degree days in Phoenix aren't exactly amazing. I could settle for a few more days under 110-degrees.

There should be more people walking around, especially at night! However, it's pretty great seeing some cities and towns get more lively downtown (or main street) areas over the last few years. Let's hope for more of that in 2016.

Whether it's more artisan-focused foods or more varied food trucks, we just want to see more homegrown restaurants and fewer chains.

Arizona overall saw decent economic growth in 2015 and the unemployment rate was in the single digits. Here's to another year of growth!

We complain about having to find shade in the summer and why Arizona doesn't use more solar power. Why not knock out two birds with one stone with these?

If you didn't know already state officials, including Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, are pushing to have closed uranium mines near the Grand Canyon re-opened. Do we really want to see a state beauty to become associated with radioactivity and contamination?
