According to the latest study that was done by HSBC bank, a total of 1 in 50 people find love while they’re on board an aircraft! The study asked more than 5,000 travelers from 141 countries different questions about the in-flight experiences that they’ve had.
According to the study, travelers are also doing more than falling in love while they’re flying. A total of 14% said that they’ve made long-lasting friendships with someone who they met and talked to on a plane. While 16% of the travelers also said that they forged business relationships as well. And if you’re feeling nervous to talk to someone new, you can also keep in mind that 51% of the travelers said that they’ve at least once struck up a conversation with a stranger on a plane - people are more willing to have a conversation than you might think!
