The historic trail runs from New Freedom, just south of the Maryland border, to the York County Colonial Courthouse. (Or, you can hike it from York to New Freedom.)

The heritage trail in Pennsylvania connects to the Torrey C. Brown Trail at the Maryland Border. It, too, spans 21 miles.
Of course, the trail is popular with hikers. But, the ADA-trail also attracts bikers, joggers, walkers, cross-country skiers, and those on snowshoes.
