Welcome to Norton, Kansas, a small town of almost 3,000 residents that's been around since 1872. It's a quiet town that never feels empty, and has all the friendliness you'd expect from the heart of the Heartland.
If you're looking to stay longer than a day, I recommend the Prairie Inn just off the beaten path for a great stay that's equally quiet and refreshing. You'll be hard pressed to find somewhere more relaxing!
Norton itself is a great little farm town that was named after Capt. Orloff Norton, same as the county. It's where one of the first recorded tornado photos was captured in 1909 by Will Keller, and it's a town that loves celebrating its history.
