Where can I embark upon scenic train rides near Pittsburgh?  

One of our favorite scenic train rides near Pittsburgh is the Stewartstown Railroad, which has been in operation since 1884 and offers train tours of historic Stewartstown with plenty of stunning countryside views. Some excursions end in New Freedom, and others loop back to the station at Stewartstown.

Weather changes quickly during the fall season, though, and by October one can expect temperatures to be in the high 60s to mid-50s by the end of the month! That being said, there are plenty of magical things to do in the fall in Pittsburgh, like some truly epic corn mazes, festivals, and more.
