Looking for a fun fall activity that’s perfect for every member of the family? Head to The Maize at the Pumpkin Patch in Portland. This huge, eight-acre corn maze makes getting lost fun!
When you're looking for fall fun, look no further than The Maize at the Pumpkin Patch. It's located on Sauvie Island, 16511 NW Gillihan Rd., Portland, Oregon.
You'll never have so much fun getting lost! The challenging maze takes most people 45 minutes to an hour to complete. You'll have some helpful trivia cards that will help you decide which way to go in certain parts of the maze.
If you're hopelessly lost, climb up to the 16-foot-long observation bridge so you can get your bearings. The maze is in two parts. You'll start at the rose in the upper corner, and once you're finished with that portion, you can stop for a break, or call it quits.
But if you're up for a bigger challenge, you'll want to continue on the the larger part of the maze. You'll have a blast exploring the maze and figuring out how to navigate to the end.
Are you ready to test your navigation skills in the Corn Maize this fall? It's open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with extended hours to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays in October. Tickets are $6 for seniors and kids ages 6-12; $8 for older kids and adults.
For more information, visit The Maize’s website, and follow on Facebook for specials and events. Have you navigated The Maize yet this year? Tell us about your trip!
