1. Alyeska Resort Oktoberfest, Girdwood
Head to Alaska's premier ski resort for the autumn festivities. With a line-up of live bands, a full menu of German cuisine, and a wide selections of beer (and wine), you'll have a blast in this picturesque mountain town.

2. Silver Gulch Brewery, Fox
This local brewery has a wide variety of tasty brews in a magical location in interior Alaska. The building was an old mining operation and now pumps out excellent beer to the thirsty locals. They even make a special Oktoberfest beer each year for the event.

3. Civic Center Oktoberfest, Valdez
The Valdez Convention & Visitors Bureau hosts an annual Oktoberfest and Home Brew competition to recognize the most talented home brewers in the state.
This year the festival is: not happening, but look for it in fall 2019.
4. Hoo Doo Brewing Company, Fairbanks
Hoo Doo has an awesome Oktoberfest celebration with lederhosen as far as the eye can see. Try the excellent variety of beers brewed in-house and German snacks. There are events throughout the whole celebration, competitions and fun events.

5. Hoo Doo Choo Choo, Fairbanks
Head to Denali National Park on a lovely day on the train for drinking beer and celebrating the harvest. Hoo Doo makes delicious microbrews of many creative flavors and you will get to enjoy all the different types and appetizers. The trip is from approx. 4 to 8 p.m.

6. Great Alaska Beer Train, Anchorage
Head from Anchorage to Portage on an autumn beer train to celebrate the season in contained style. Beer and dinner is included, and they Alaska Railroad will do the driving, so you can just relax and have fun!

7. Anchorage Oktoberfest, Anchorage
A celebration of German culture in Alaska's biggest city. Usually a multi-day event open to the public with dancing, music, food and lots of beer. Look for it in the future!
This year the event is: not happening, but they should be back next year at the Egan Center
8. Humpy's Great Alaskan Ale House Oktoberfest, Anchorage
Humpy's, an institution in the heart of downtown Anchorage, has a delicious 5 course German dinner and a huge selection of beer for their Oktoberfest offering. A live German band and dancing complete the party.
This year the event is: September 30, 2018 from 6-10 p.m.
