The Maryland Wine Festival returns for its 35th year and it’s packed with things to see, do, and drink! Read on for the details and clear your schedule for this fun and tasty event.
The Maryland Wine Festival has become just as much a tradition for locals as it has for local wineries.
This year's event will take place Saturday October 13th at Carroll County Farm Museum.
Note: this is a NEW event date due to impending inclement weather and Hurricane Florence.
Stroll the grounds and you'll be surprised at just how much this massive festival has to offer.
First, let's start with the obvious. There will be 25 wineries on-site, sampling over 150 wines!
You could simply get buzzed over all of the sampling, or use this opportunity to find some new favorites. Purchase a bottle and enjoy.
Nothing pairs better with wine than cheese. Don't miss the cheese pavilion, which will be filled with various samples of artisanal cheeses from local creameries.
When you're feeling famished, visit one of the 24 food vendors. Giant turkey leg, anyone?
Are you a craft lover? Then you'll adore the 45 artisans, selling things like homemade clothing, home decor, soaps, and more.
While you explore all of the wine, food, and more, there will also be live music. Local bands will be playing both days, from jazz to folk, and even ’80s covers.
Sound like a good time? Then find ticket information here and plan accordingly.
