It seems that we’ve almost made it through this hot, dry summer at last. And you know what that means: harvest festivals, hoodies, Halloween, and pumpkin-flavored everything! But what we’re most excited about this autumn is this huge 10-acre corn maze – it’s going to be one unforgettable experience.
Skinny Bones Pumpkin Patch is celebrating its 10th season this year, and it's ramping up to be the best yet. The family behind the attraction designs and builds everything themselves; their care is apparent in all of the awesome family activities at the patch.
The 10-acre maze will challenge you to find your way out amid the tall cornstalks. This is no simple walk-through - you'll actually need to think your way out of this one. (There's also a smaller, easier version for kids.)
Check out this video to see what it's like inside the maze.

Grab a punch card before you head into the maze to participate in the scavenger hunt. You'll be looking for eight waypoints, each of which will offer a punch on the card. Find them all to win a fun prize!
Don't miss the spooky haunted maze, when the corn maze is populated with spooky apparitions after dark. You'll use a flashlight to find your way around...but beware what's hiding around the next corner!
There's so much more to experience at Skinny Bones once you've found your way out of the maze. Don't miss the 60-foot Frankenslide, pedal karts, Eerie Trail...
One of the newest attractions is the Rolling Racers. Sit inside one of these giant wheels and roll down the track, kind of like a roly poly bug. This looks like crazy fun!
Find Skinny Bones Pumpkin Patch at 3935 State Highway 133, Blair, NE 68008. The 2018 season starts on September 7 and runs through October 31. Find out more about this awesome destination on their website right here.
