1. Avalon Mall - 2200 Avalon Blvd, Alpharetta, GA
What better way to see Christmas lights for free than to go to the mall? Check out Avalon Mall's festive decorations and get a chance to meet Santa. He'll be there until December 24, and you'll also have a chance to go ice skating until January 24.
2. Atlantic Station - 17th Street, Midtown Atlanta, GA
The annual lighting of the Christmas tree happened on November 21. Go and see this huge lighted tree and all the other Christmas decorations while you shop. This shopping center also has an outdoor skating rink that'll be open until February 14.

3. Six Flags Holiday In The Park - 275 Riverside Pkwy, Austell, GA 30168
The dates for this event are November 21, 2015 through January 3, 2016. The entire park will glow with more than a million lights, a 25 ft. Christmas tree, culinary treats and a ride on the North Pole Express to visit Santa himself.

4. Pettit Creek Christmas Light Display - Pettit Creek Farms 337 Cassville Road Cartersville, Georgia
5. The Ludy’s Christmas Light Spectacular - 5784 Ironstone Drive
Columbus, Georgia
This event is on display from Thanksgiving through New Year's Eve. Attend this light show and benefit the Make A Wish Foundation. See more than 100,000 lights all flickering to tunes you can listen to on your radio. This show is spectacular and serves a great cause during the holidays!
6. Lights of the South - 633 Louisville Road
Grovetown, Georgia
You can see Lights of the South November 20 - December 30, 2014 (Closed Christmas Day). Your kids will love this place! There's more than five million lights displayed in a 100-acre forest, the world's largest American flag made with lights, a trainband (of course) Santa!
7. Gift of Lights - Atlanta Motor Speedway - 1500 Tara Place Hampton, Georgia
The lights can be seen from November 27 - December 30, 2015. There are more than one million lights glittering every night here on hundreds of individual light displays.

8. Lights of Life - Life University - Barclay Circle off Highway 41/Cobb Parkway
Marietta, Georgia
You can catch this spectacular display from November 26 – December 31, 2014 at Life University. This yearly event also has pony rides, pictures with Santa Claus, train rides and a petting zoo!
