Chugach Outdoor Center begins each white water adventure with safety training and orientation. The initial meeting point is near Hope, a dreamy little historic town.
Tours begin at 9 AM or 2 PM and last a few hours depending on the size of the group. Equipment provided includes the use of a helmet, paddle and life jacket.
The minimum age for participation is 15 years old, and everyone must be able to handle a paddle and pass the basic swim test.
