It’s part campground and part bed and breakfast, and it’s a wonderful getaway that you’ll never forget. This delightful campground has something for everyone. The remote backcountry location is perfect for campers who enjoy immersing themselves in nature, and the glamping tents are great for those who prefer to camp in comfort. Summer isn’t over yet so get ready for a last-minute camping adventure that you’re bound to fall in love with.
Who said you had to sacrifice comfort for natural beauty? That couldn't be further from the truth, especially here at Huckleberry Tent and Breakfast located just outside of Clark Fork. This unique campground wonderfully combines the rugged aspect of camping with the comforts of a bed and breakfast. Prepare to fall head over heels for this place!
Huckleberry Tent and Breakfast boasts three delightful little campgrounds, complete with cozy canvas-walled tent cabins. You won't need a sleeping bag or air mattress at this campground. Each tent is furnished and comes complete with a big, comfy, REAL bed. The delightful decor will make you feel right at home from the moment you step inside.
The campsites are thoughtfully furnished and contain everything you could need for your relaxing getaway. Fire pit, camp furniture, cintronella torches, you name it. They'll even provide you with fire wood and matches.
On top of everything else, each campsite comes equipped with a personal, screened camp kitchen. Within the kitchen you'll find an antique functional hand pump for water, a propane stove, and all of the cookware you could need for preparing your meals.
Campers are also welcome to enjoy breakfast each morning at the homestead. This homestead is the real deal. It was built from scratch back in 1992 and surrounding it is the garden and small farm which the owners survive off of. This really is simple living at its finest.
Of course, the campground's most notable feature is its stunning location. Located in the remote North Idaho backcountry, this place will make you feel a million miles away from it all. Each campsite has its own breathtaking views of places like Scotchman Peak, the highest peak in Bonner County.
You'll find that there are plenty of opportunities for exploration in this divine region of wilderness. Spend the day kayaking down the Clark Fork River or around Lake Pend Oreille. Check out the nearby Ross Creek Cedars which features some of the largest trees in Montana or enjoy some time in the lovely town of Sandpoint.
Or simply pass the time by relaxing at the campground, soaking up the pristine natural beauty. You might even make some new friends. Wildlife including deer, elk, moose, eagles, and owls all call this area home.
Leave all your worries behind when you spend the night at Huckleberry Tent and Breakfast. Here you can free yourself from modern distractions and reconnect with your love of nature.
