Marilyn's Bakery in the city of Hobart, Indiana is a Hoosier treasure, especially to those in the northwest corner of the state where the bake shop is located.
Established in 1986, this amazing bakery is located on Johnson’s Farm Produce where it gets many of its ingredients. You can also find this bakery's sweets at farmers markets in Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan.
Step into the bakery, and you'll be blown away at once. A wealth of perfect pies and other sweets fill the shop, making it difficult to choose just one treat. In total, Marilyn's bakes about 70,000 pies per year.
Made daily, the best pies in the state come in a wealth of different flavors. Pecan, peach, key lime, French silk, peanut butter, sweet potato, coconut cream, and many more pies grace the menu.
Marilyn's Bakery is known for more than just sweet pies. Guests also enjoy a wealth of savory pies made with meats, cheeses, and vegetables. The bakery even sells lunch items like sandwiches, quiche, and soup.
This fabulous bakery freezes 3,500 pounds of blueberries each season so they can bake pies with them all year long.
Additional treats found at this shop include cup cakes, English toffee, cookies, cinnamon rolls, cheesecake, and various breads. Open daily, stop by Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
