There’s nothing in the world like Cincinnati-style chili, and there’s one restaurant less than 20 minutes from the city that not only has excellent chili, but they have an eight-pound chili dish that’s so big we bet you can’t eat it all. The No Freakin’ Way is worth the drive!
Blue Ash Chili serves up some of the best chili you've ever tasted, and they also have some humongous menu items for even the hungriest diners.
This little deli & chili parlor has three locations, but the closest to Cincinnati is the one in Blue Ash at 9565 Kenwood Rd., Blue Ash, OH 45242.
This place has been around since the 1960s, and you'll find plenty of nods to the restaurant's history, as well as tons of memorabilia in the dining room.
In addition to a simple bowl of chili, you can get yours Cincinnati-style, served over spaghetti as a 3-way, or with added beans or onions for a 4-way, with both beans and onions for a 5-way, and with beans, onions and jalapeno coins for a magnificent 6-way (shown here).
If you're really hungry, and up for a challenge, you'll want to order the No Freakin' Way. This monster includes 2.5 pounds of spaghetti, 2.5 pounds of chili, 2 pounds of shredded cheese, and 1 pound of fried jalapeno caps. The whole thing weighs eight pounds, and it's so big that they serve it on a pizza tin.
If you have a big appetite, but aren't in the mood for chili, you might try one of the double-decker sandwiches here. They're also monster-sized, and piled high with your choice of meats, lettuce, tomato, and mayo.
