Michelle's life is a colorful map of exploration and adventure. From the iconic streets of New York to the sunny shores of Florida, the jagged coast of Maine to the rugged terrain of Montana, she's been fortunate to call some of America's most beautiful states home. Beyond the U.S., Michelle's wanderlust has taken her on a motorcycle journey through India, led her to teach English in Hanoi, and saw her studying Spanish in Guatemala. Michelle graduated with a communications degree from the S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and in addition to a career in advertising has worked with OnlyInYourState since 2016, where her love for travel and storytelling converges. Alongside writing and exploring, Michelle finds joy in photography, staying active, and time with her family.

While some of the country might believe that everything in New York looks like the Big Apple, the reality couldn’t be any further from that. The area surrounding Buffalo is some of the most beautiful in the state and we’re lucky to be able to experience it on a daily basis. While the weather is warm, we recommend getting out as much as possible to enjoy what those in other parts of the country don’t have – enchanting trails, great food, and this incredible Frank Lloyd Wright tour near Buffalo.
Graycliff is located at 6472 Old Lake Shore Road in Derby. For information on tours and booking tickets, visit the Graycliff Estate website here.
Please note that restoration is ongoing at Graycliff, which means you may experience the sights and sounds of a construction site as well. This shouldn’t interfere with your visit, but in the summer of 2018, you won’t be able to go inside the home.
