There's A Bacon Festival Happening In Indiana And It's As Amazing As It Sounds

As everyone loves bacon, there is a fabulous celebration of this fine meat taking place in downtown Delphi this month. Locals look forward to the best bacon festival all year long, and it’s about time you found out why.

For one day only, Indiana will celebrate everyone's favorite food like it's the last thing on earth to eat. Hoosiers will flock to downtown Delphi on each year in late August for the Indiana Bacon Festival.
Beginning at 3 p.m. and lasting until 11 p.m., this incredible festival includes food vendors, beer brewers, live music, a bacon eating event, a singing competition, and a hog-calling contest.
About a dozen food vendors from around Carroll County will bring delicious barbecue, sandwiches, pizza, ice cream, Mexican eats, and so much more. There will also be a beer and wine garden available.
Visitors also enjoy a singing competition, known as Bacon-Idol, as well as a hog-calling contest, which is exactly what it sounds like.
Additionally, guests will enjoy live music. Little Texas and Heywood Banks are scheduled to go on that night and take this best bacon festival late into the night.
If you love bacon, you don't want to miss this fabulous festival. The smells alone will have you floating down the aisles of food and put you right on Cloud Nine.
Admission to this amazing festival is $5 ahead of time and $10 at the door. Children may enter for $2 each. There are also VIP passes available that cost about $80 each and which include admission, a t-shirt, and premium seating for the bands.
