As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Did you know that one of the most haunted places in the world is right here in Delaware? Yes, I’m talking about the Fort that hosted your school field trips. Fort Delaware is so creepy that it was featured on the TV show Ghost Hunters, and real-life ghost hunters take to the Fort every fall to bring people on a paranormal tour of the grounds.
The extended paranormal investigation tours are offered on October 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, & 27. The ferry departs at 9:30 p.m. sharp, and guests must be at least 13 years of age to participate. You’ll want to make your reservations well in advance (read: way before October!), and you can do that right here.
