There’s not much the Ratchford Buffalo Farms doesn’t have. It’s the only buffalo farm in the county and one of the oldest in the state. With it’s remote cabin, fascinating buffalo, delicious jerky and jellies, and quick access to the most popular river in the state, Ratchford Buffalo Farms is a perfect Arkansas trip.
Ratchford Buffalo Farms is perfectly located between the Ozark National Forest and Middle of Nowhere, Arkansas.
The secluded farm in Marshall is the perfect getaway for anyone needing a relaxing recharge. Ratchford Farms is located at 2060 Trout Farm Rd., Marshall, AR 72650.
As Searcy county's original and only buffalo farm, it's one of the few places in the state to see a herd of buffalo.
Most all of the farm's animals are rescues including a surprisingly friendly deer. The zoo has emu, llama, goats, alpaca, peacocks and a long haired highland cow.

You'll definitely want to take advantage of the farm's onsite store.
The store has the freshest beef, buffalo, and elk meat you could possible find in the state. Munch on seasoned jerky or take home a jar of jam made from farm-grown fruits.
No matter if you're staying the weekend or just scheduling a tour, the Ratchford Buffalo Farms is a wonderful Arkansas stop.
