A while ago, we looked at the most “sinful” counties in Nebraska: those with the highest number of establishments like liquor stores and adult entertainment. There’s another side to that coin, though – these are the 10 counties in Nebraska with the most religious organizations per 10,000 residents. A religious organization is defined as a church or other organized place of religious gathering and worship. All data was compiled and published by FindTheHome.com.
It’s important to remember that these numbers have been adjusted to show how many religious organizations are in each place per 10,000 people to give a fair comparison between vastly different populations. These counties (with the exception of Custer) all have actual populations of fewer than 10,000.
