If you're worried about how this will affect the environment, then have no fear! The Water Lantern Festival makes sure that every destination they visit around the country is left cleaner than it was before they arrived. At the end of each festival, a crew goes out and collects all of the biodegradable lanterns as well as any other trash they happen to stumble across.

So, when and where can you get tickets to these festivals? First off, with the purchase of your ticket you'll gain entry to the festival, and also receive a water lantern, LED keychain flashlight, marker, and a wristband. As of right now, there are currently tickets still available for the New York / New Jersey location that takes place at Liberty State Park in New Jersey on July 20th. This particular festival may be technically out of state, but is a useful destination for our residents who live downstate and want to experience this for themselves. There are also still tickets available for when the Water Lantern Festival will be coming to Port Washington on August 25th at the North Hempstead Beach Park.
