While the Buffalo Rose in Golden technically opened three years before the Mint, it is currently undergoing renovations and not expected to re-open until later this year, making the Mint the current oldest.
Originally located in the mining village of Kokomo, the bar AND building has been uprooted and moved a handful of times, calling Kokomo, Frisco, Dillon, and (now) Silverthorne its home.
