Utah has hundreds of hiking trails that will get you out amongst its most stunning natural beauty. While many of them are once-in-a-lifetime hikes, not all are suitable for everyone. Here’s a picturesque trail in Logan that’s perfect for everyone from small children to older folks.

The Logan River Trail is a paved, shared-use trail that takes you between the Logan River Golf Course and Rendezvous Park.

The hike is just 1.9 miles, each way, and it's an easy stroll that's suitable for folks of any age or ability.

The trail follows along beside the Logan River for most of the way. The mature trees provide plenty of shade on a hot day.

The Logan River can move fast during spring runoff, but by summer, it's usually pretty calm. Keep an eye on kids and pets during your walk.

You'll likely see quite a few wildflowers along the trail this time of year.

Bring your camera along to capture the flowers, and watch for small wildlife, such as squirrels and birds, too.
