Beaver County Boom: You Won't Want To Miss This Epic Summer Event Near Pittsburgh This Year

Summer just wouldn’t be summer without a spectacular fireworks show, would it? Usually we have to wait until the Fourth of July for an epic fireworks show, right? Not this year. Kick back. Relax. And, turn your eyes to the nighttime sky for a breathtaking pyrotechnics show. And, before that, indulge in a delicious treat from one of the food trucks on hand.

The epic fireworks show, which is set to launch from 9:45 p.m. to 10 p.m., boasts the theme "Hot Summer Nights." (Music will accompany the fireworks.)

Of course, one name is synonymous with fireworks in the Pittsburgh-area and that's Zambelli Internationale, which will produce the spectacular event.

But, don't wait until darkness falls to head to one of the prime spots - Bridgewater Park, Rochester Riverfront Park, and Monaca Waterworks - to watch the show.

Stop by Bridgewater Crossing to indulge in a delicious meal or a quick snack. The Mini-Food Truck Festival will be held from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on the day of the Beaver County BOOM!

Or, bring your Frisbee, ball, or kite to wile away the time leading up to the fireworks show. (And, be sure to bring a blanket or a chair for watching the show.)

Don't forget to set your radios to 1230 WBVP/1460 WMBA, which will begin live coverage at 6 p.m. the day of the show.

Beaver County BOOM!'s fireworks will be launched from the Beaver River and Ohio River confluence.
