With a length of 1,540 feet, Alabama's Gulf State Park Pier is the longest pier on the Gulf of Mexico. It's also Alabama’s only public pier on the Gulf.

The fees to fish from Gulf State Park Pier are as follows: daily, $9.00; weekly, $41.00; monthly, $81.00; semiannual, $161.00; annual; $321.00. Rod and reel rentals are available onsite. Children under the age of 11 fish for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
If you only wish to visit Gulf State Park Pier for its incredible views, you may do so. The pier's all-day fee for sightseeing is $4.00, and its one-trip fee is $3.00. Gulf State Park Pier is open 24 hours a day.
