This Outdoor Water Playground In Connecticut Will Be Your New Favorite Destination

The Nutmeg State is full of incredible beaches and lakes for swimming in the summertime, but you might be craving a spot with a little more excitement. Water cannons, slides, and much more await at this Connecticut water playground. The whole family will enjoy cooling off at this hotspot for summer activity.
Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury has been a long-standing fixture in the Nutmeg State. But some people don't realize that in addition to thrilling roller coasters and other rides, there is an amazing waterpark here too.

But just look at the epic waterpark at Quassy now! A whole bunch of slides and water attractions make this place so much more than fun.
Plunge through the Bullet Bowl where riders journey through a dark tunnel emerging into a huge basin where you'll cling to the walls before dropping through the center to a safe landing trough.
Younger kids under 48" can visit slide city to make a splash in a complex of five unique water slides.
The newest addition to the park for 2018 are the Class 5 Rapids Raft Rides. Adults and big kids (42" - 48" must ride with an adult) can shoot down three different slides that twist and turn to a thrilling end.
Saturation station is a big hit with slides, water cannons, fountains, and more. A 300-gallon tipping bucket will keep guests cool on even the hottest days.
Smaller visitors may enjoy the Fish Pond splash pad. This attraction is just for the little ones so they can enjoy the water without being overwhelmed.
The waterpark sits right next to Lake Quassapaug. Take a break at the beach and enjoy the refreshing freshwater lake.
Don't forget about all of the amusement park rides. Take a spin on the Tilt-A-Whirl, enjoy a hair-raising coaster, or spend some time on the other captivating rides.
An all-day ride and water park pass costs under $30 per person. Season passes to the park are $95.99 for individuals with discounts for families. There are specials that make the park even more affordable throughout the entire summer.
The waterpark at Quassy is open 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., Memorial Day through Labor Day. Get ready to enjoy some awesome splash time this summer.
