Western Washington isn’t exactly known for its hot, sunny days — but all that changes in the summertime, when the local pools and water parks open and the locals and visitors flock to them to cool off. And there happens to be a highly underrated aquatic park hiding off Renton’s Maple Valley Highway you’ll enjoy whether you have young children or you’re just a kid at heart.
Located at 1719 Maple Valley Highway, the Henry Moses Aquatic Center is a more low-key version of some of the other water parks in the area.
The cost of admission is $8.50 for ages 5 and up for local residents, $15.00 for non-residents. Younger children receive discounted rates, and kids under 1 are free.
