Missouri is loaded with history. Many of the towns situated along the Mississippi River have been established since the early 1800s. Just a short drive from St. Louis, but well off the beaten path is the tiny historic town of Kimmswick. This little town is well known for it’s annual Strawberry Festival in the spring and the Applebutter Festival in the fall.
