Cincinnati is a great town for pizza lovers, as we have many options for delicious pies in all sorts of forms. We shared our ultimate pizza bucket list for Cincinnati here, but it’s time to make an amendment because a certain pizza joint just expanded and definitely deserves a spot on the list. Taglio is a mouthwatering Italian restaurant in Columbia Tusculum that recently expanded to include a large sit-down space. Since it hasn’t been as widely known throughout the city, it’s very likely that Taglio is the most mouthwatering pizza joint in Cincinnati you have yet to try.
If the look and feel of Taglio seem familiar to you, perhaps you've eaten at its sister restaurant, A Tavola, which has locations in Madeira and OTR.
Taglio has been a carryout and delivery pizza spot in Columbia Tusculum for awhile, but they recently opened a sit-down restaurant for the entire city to come and enjoy.
The dining room and bar are large and spacious with a relaxed atmosphere, but elegant vibe.
This is definitely a more upscale take on a pizza joint, but that doesn't mean you have to be dressed in your best to walk through the door. Come as you are and get excited to try some of the best pizza and other Italian favorites in the city.

Taglio is mostly known for their standout pizza, which is packed with flavor and toppings. You can choose one of their specialty pies or build your own.
If you need a suggestion of toppings for your pizza, try their Pepperoni + Hot Honey Specialty. It sounds peculiar, but the flavors are outstanding, so go ahead and give it a try on this Detroit-style crust.
Aside from the pizza, Taglio's menu is filled with other freshly prepared Italian favorites.
You could visit for the appetizers alone- the handmade Mozzarella Sticks are a highlight. The Chicken Strips are also a delight, especially when paired with any of their delicious salads.
The sandwiches are also a favorite at Taglio and you can't go wrong with any of them.
The Eggplant Parmesan sandwich (shown above) and the Italian Hero are worth a try. You'll have to visit several times to be able to try all of the enticing menu options.
Taglio has been a treasure in Columbia Tusculum for a while, but now the rest of the city can easily enjoy its mouthwatering pizza.
When you think you've tried all of the best pizza Cincinnati has to offer, make sure to pay Taglio a visit because you definitely won't want to leave it off of your list.
