It’s not every day that Arkansas makes national news. Earlier this month the CEO from Priceline announced the site’s top five “Emerging Travel Cities in the U.S.” and Hot Springs made the top spot. Let’s see what makes this beloved city stand out from the rest of the nation.

This Arkansas city beat out Cleveland, OH; Durham, NC; Detroit, MI; and Deadwood, SD. Priceline.com made their decision based on five years worth of booking information.

Garvan Woodland Gardens and Magic Springs are must-visits for Arkansans and out-of-towners. They're the largest botanical gardens and water park, respectively, in the state.
