Visit The Bayou Without Leaving Delaware At This Quirky Landmark Restaurant
When you visit historic New Castle, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time to the 17th and 18th century, pretty much anywhere you go! There are a few spots that don’t quite fit the theme, though, and one of them is the cajun restaurant that feels a lot more like Mardi Gras than 4th of July.
Nora Lee’s French Quarter is located at 124 Delaware St, New Castle, DE 19720. This cajun bistro is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., from 11:30 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Friday and Saturdays, and from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. They are closed on Monday.
All it takes is one bite of their jambalaya to instantly understand why this charming spot was named one of the 11 Most Mouthwatering Restaurants In Delaware!
