The second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans after the French Quarter, Algiers Point is a charming little neighborhood you simply have to check out. In the 1920s, Jazz musicians nicknamed the area the “Brooklyn of the South” for it proximity to New Orleans as compared to New York City and Brooklyn. Filled with character and incredibly unique, this may just be New Orlean’s best kept secret.
