In its heyday, Jerome was home to 10,000 people. But that was back when it was supported by nearby copper mines. Today, Jerome is home to less 500 residents.
It's also home to a hilariously fun destination restaurant you'll want to visit.

Haunted Hamburber, with its unmissable skeleton hanging on for dear life to the sign on the building, is located in a renovated structure that used to be a boarding house for the miners who worked in those copper mines so long ago.
But now, it's a restaurant with the best burgers for (hundreds of) miles.

The menu is in keeping with the authentically haunted abode the eatery occupies, featuring haunted dishes and drinks. For real, current and past residents of this old structure that was built around 1910 have seen and experienced more than just an occasional paranormal scare.
But there is nothing scary about the hearty Bloody Mary you'll dine on at Haunted Hamburger.
