Why do your shopping at the mall when you could venture out and explore a one-of-a-kind flea market? Here in Michigan, we’ve got plenty of vintage shops, antique stores, and specialty shopping centers to choose from – but there’s one unique flea market in the Great Lakes State that only takes place twice a year, and you’ll undoubtedly want to visit. Shopping at the Farmgirl Flea Market in Michigan is a lovely way to spend the day looking for hidden treasures.
Farmgirl Flea Market takes place twice a year: during the spring and fall. This spring, the market will come to Hudsonville Fairgrounds on May 19 and 20.
This is anything but your ordinary flea market, and you’ll immediately be delighted. Farmgirl Flea brings together all sorts of amazing finds from over 150 vendors.
For a $15 fee, you’ll enjoy VIP access to the market on Friday between 4 and 8 p.m. This means you’ll have first dibs - and your VIP access allows for Saturday entry, as well.
If you’re interested in visiting during the Saturday market alone, you’ll pay $5 to peruse the fairgrounds between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., though the experience is truly priceless.
Of course, all that shopping might leave you a little hungry, so be sure to check out the flea market’s assortment of on-site food trucks when your stomach growls.
Shoppers will also be treated to live entertainment throughout the weekend. The entry fee for Farmgirl Flea covers so much more than just a day of treasure-hunting.
Whether you’re eight or 80, you’ll undoubtedly find something to adore about this exciting event in the Great Lakes State. There’s no better way to spend a spring day.
