A relatively short drive from San Diego, Anza-Borrego State Park is a wonderland of breathtaking desert landscapes.

This massive park encompasses over 600,000 acres within the Colorado Desert and is consequently the largest state park in all of California.

Visitors to the park will have ample opportunities to explore the desert landscape by means of hiking trails.

This natural area is also characterized by dramatic badlands, mountains, and unique rock formations.

Depending on the time of year you visit, you may even get to experience the ephemeral desert wildflowers, which add a pop of color to an otherwise arid landscape.
