In a state that is famous for its caves, you may think you’re already aware of all the underground wonders Kentucky has to offer. Everyone knows of the longest cave system in the world – Mammoth Cave – which is its own National Park and definitely a sight to behold. Many also know of and have visited Carter Caves and the associated State Park. But, have you heard of Diamond Caverns? If not, you definitely should check it out, as it is one of the oldest visited caves in the country and many would argue it’s the most beautiful in Kentucky. If you enjoy natural beauty and history, then Diamond Caverns is a Kentucky cave that you should explore at least once.
