Jenny Lake is one of only two lakes in Grand Teton National Park that allow motorboats. You can bring your own to take a leisurely cruise across the water or book passage on one of the scenic tours.

There are a number of hiking trails near the lake, too. There's even a fairly easy trail that loops around Jenny Lake, giving hikers a glorious 360-degree view of the pristine water.
Researchers studied the water quality of Jenny Lake in 2005, along with the other bodies of water in Grand Teton National Park. They found the waters in those lakes to be astonishingly pure, unblemished and unaffected by water or air pollution.
