Restaurants In New Orleans

What are some of the best restaurants in New Orleans?
Mother’s (401 Poydras St.): If you're hankering for some classic New Orleans dishes, such as red beans and rice, jambalaya, and shrimp creole, this place has been serving them since 1938 on “Restaurant Row.” Since then, the staff has cooked delicious meals for folks willing to wait in the long lines. A special family relationship with the U.S. Marines earned it the nickname “TUN Tavern New Orleans” in the late 1960s.
Paladar 511 (511 Marigny St.): An opportunity is available every evening for dinner and every weekend for brunch at this fabulous restaurant. Reading the menu offers a glimpse into the work ethic here. Some of the housemade pizzas include the Lamb Merguez Sausage with garlic confit, roasted pepper, pine nuts, and tzatziki; and the Roasted Butternut Squash includes arugula pistou, taleggio, pickled shallots, and hot-honey pepitas.
Bratz Y'all! (617-B Piety St.): What started as a festival food booth in 2012 opened as a bistro, bakery, and Biergarten in March of 2017. Enjoy authentic signature German dishes, such as house-made Bavarian pretzels; a variety of bratwurst sausage sandwiches with scrumptious toppings; and German desserts, beers, wines, and schnapps! Check the schedule for live musical performances and bring the dog along too.
