From sun up until the wee hours of the morning, there’s always something going on in Miami. The wondrous white sand beaches beckon tourists to enjoy laid-back, sun-filled days and then ramp up ready to boldly hit the town in the evening. Miami doesn't really start to get going until noon, so the best time to stroll or take a run on the beach, grab the best beach chairs, or secure an ideal spot is in the morning hours.

Each beach area has a distinct personality and visitors, so do your homework ahead of time.
Some sections are more for couples and young adults, others are family-friendly, and some sections are definitely more lively and entertaining. Before heading out, ask your concierge about which area that meets your requirements.
South Beach is home to the world’s largest art deco architecture.
The beach path here is popular for biking, blading, and jogging, and runs from South Pointe Park to the north along the coastline, and finally turning into a wooden boardwalk at 23rd St. to 46th St.
Florida Stone Crab is a local favorite. The claws are large and strong enough to break an oyster's shell. Joe's Stone Crab, located at the end of South Beach at 11 Washington Ave., has grown from a small lunch counter in 1913 to today's Miami institution.
