Sometimes, no matter how much we would like to go on a tropical getaway, due to lack of time or money it’s simply not feasible. The good news is, here in the Mile High City you can park your car on Broadway and walk into this Tiki-themed restaurant and truly feel like you’ve escaped to the beach.
Adrift Tiki Bar is a wonderful place for diners to experience something completely unique in a city mostly known as the gateway to the snow-covered Rocky Mountains.
Inside this restaurant, the bamboo-lined walls and bar, Polynesian paintings, and puffer fish lights set the vibe that allows guests to be transported to a tropical vacation.
The Polynesian-inspired bites are as scrumptious as they are beautiful.
And, of course, the rum-centric, island-style drinks are show-stoppers as well.
Adrift's bar has more than 65 different types of rum.
If you can, make a point to stop in for Adrift's Happy Hour from Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.
Their Beach Bar Happy Hour specials include $2 off Tiki cocktails, $5 Island Cocktails, and $4 Bayside Beers.
Your mouth will water as you read over their "Snack Shack" Happy Hour food specials as well.
This smaller menu includes items such as Guava BBQ Baby Back Ribs and Edamame Hummus.
Adrift's full menu includes seasonal dishes as well as Polynesian classics such as Kona Kalua Pork Sliders, the Pu Pu Platter, and Pele Duck Wings.
Pulling up a seat at their bar will leave you feeling refreshed with Tiki Classics — we're talking Mai Tais, Zombies, and Hurricanes — frozen drinks, and local brews.
You may even be interested in one of their shareable cocktails like the Planter's Punch or Baker Fire Bowl where the presentation is half the fun.
Take yourself on your own little escape without having to travel at all at Adrift Tiki Bar. They are located at 218 S. Broadway in Denver, CO 80209.
The kitchen is open from Tuesday through Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m. The bar serves their unbeatable island-style drinks from Tuesday through Thursday from 4 p.m. until 12 a.m. and on Friday and Saturday nights from 4 p.m. until 1 a.m.
