When it comes to beer, real connoisseurs know where to find the good stuff. And at this unique beer garden in the Tar Heel State there are so many beers to choose from the establishment has earned bragging rights as the World’s Largest Beer Garden. Check it out, and then check it out.
Raleigh Beer Garden opened in 2015 and at last count, had 366 beers ON TAP. That's more than any other bar in the world!
There are so many beers on tap at this two story beer garden (a rooftop bar makes three floors) that their online menu breaks out the selection by what's available on each floor.
In addition to having the largest selection of beers on tap, RBG's footprint covers a massive 8,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor space to kick back and enjoy a flight (or three!)
If you're wondering about how the establishment maintains such a large selection, then not to worry; they have the whole process down to a science!
The real challenge of the whole experience is figuring out how not to look like a deer in the headlights when it's your turn to order. Because the selection changes so often, Raleigh Beer Garden doesn't print paper menus.
If you want to know what to order, then your best bet is to check their online menu (see link above), or download the Untappd app. Of course, that will get you started, but it may not help you decide from among all the fantastic choices.
While you're at it, place an order for a bite to eat. Their extensive menu includes pizzas, sandwiches, crostinis, salads and more.
With plenty of seating inside and out, the beer garden has ample space for you to relax with friends and unwind. Be sure to check out the reservation requirements found at the bottom of this page on their website.
The world's largest beer garden opens daily at 11:00 a.m. and closes at 2:00 a.m. Hours may vary on holidays.
