There’s a family-friendly spring festival on the calendar for April 28th and you won’t want to miss out! The annual Riverfest takes place in Waynesboro and features all sorts of festive outdoor activities such as arts and crafts, canoe rides, Reptile World shows, and the main attraction, the Great South River Duck Race. On April 28th, visitors from near and far will want to head to Constitution Park, located at 215 McElroy St, Waynesboro, VA 22980.
Programs and activities for all ages begin around 10am and will continue throughout the day. It's the perfect way to learn about the Shenandoah River Basin all while enjoying its beauty.
At approximately 4:30pm, the ducks will be released while spectators eagerly watch to see which duck can "swim" the fastest. The winner will take home a grand prize of $1,000 in cash and gift cards!
