Beer production takes place in a 90,000 square-foot facility and uses 800-barrel fermenters to ensure the best quality beer in everything from kegs to cans.

The brewery has a long history. Owner Josh Deth worked at several breweries around Chicago, including Goose Island, before starting several breweries of his own that never took off. While operating the Handlebar in Logan Square, he came across a building that gave him the idea for Revolution.
Revolution Brewing opened in 2010 but the production brewery and tap room did not open until 2012. You can get the full history and learn all about how their beer is made by taking a tour.
Currently, the tap room is open to the public Wednesday through Sunday in the afternoons and evenings, and guests are welcome to take a 30-minute tour, which are first-come first-serve. Private tours and other events can also be arranged.
The best place to try a Revolution beer is as its brewpub in Logan Square. The restaurant is open daily for lunch, dinner, and late-night snacks and night caps, as well as for brunch on weekends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The pub serves burgers, salads, pizzas, sandwiches, and other pub favorites, and a special BBQ plate is available on Mondays.
This award winning craft brewery has been recognized by both local and national festivals, publications, and associations, so you know it has to be good.
Revolution currently distributes in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York City. Find its special brews in a store or bar near you.
Revolution Brewing is located at 2323 N Milwaukee Avenue, and the Revolution Brewing Tap Room is at 3340 N Kendzie Avenue. Get more information on its website here.
